I am living in Israel. I had a computer crash and decide to buy the upgrade of Pinnacle Studio 16 Ultimate. I had still my serial number of the version 14.
I got an email from them 'thank you and blablaâ€¦.'

When I clicked on the link, I got the message "Internet Explorer cannot find this page".
Digital Driver who is a charge of the customer service told me that this is not possible. Probably cookies prevent the webpage to open. I never heart that a cookie can give such a message. I deleted all my cookies; put my security settings on "allow all cookies". Nothing changed same result.
A technician of Digital Driver proposed me to install another web browser. I did it and installed Google Chrome and get the same error message.
Another technician (each email is managed by another technician) told me to try another link.
Alleluia, the webpage opent and I got 4 links to download.
2 concerns zip files with manual books. I downloaded those books without problems.
1 link concerned Studio_16_training.exe
The download speed never gets over 400 KB/s.
I download this file 7 or 8 times. All were corrupt. I did'nt succeed to get 1 non-corrupt download!
Then I tried to download Studio16_setup.exe.
It took every time between 2 Ã 3 hours to download this file.
I did try 8 times and (again Alleluia) the last download was not corrupt.
In meantime I found a version of Studio14. I installed this one without any problem. Then I did run Studio 16. It starts very nicely and after one minute the download manager told me that there are several functions which has to be downloaded and he (very polite) asked me the authorization to do so.
Please, you are welcome and I clicked on Ok.
A line appeared on the bottom of the screen showing how many % are downloaded.
Of course, this gauge started by 0%. BUT after one hour he was still at 0%.
This was too much for me. I was corresponding more as one week with
Digital Driver and none of my problems were solved.
I told them that I renounce to use Studio 16 and that I want my 90$ to be refund. Of course they refused.
Conclusion, don't by anything at Pinnacle that you have to download. You will become crazy.
The 'Customer Service' will NOT help you. The people of Digital Driver are totally incompetent, they don't care about your problems. As every email is handled by another person, he didn't read all you already wrote before and tells you the same as the 10 other before him.
I lost 90$ and Pinnacle lost a client. If you don't want to face all those problems; there is only 1 solution: don't buy from Pinnacle.
