I had problems ripping from a black CD I burned with CCD (CloneCD).
When I mounted the original CCD image (the same image the dupe was made from) on a virtual drive, CDex ripped every song perfectly.
Do you think the CD being black is the problem?
Could there be some protection that got past CCD?
Could a protection kick- in on a burned copy but not effect ripping from the image on HD?
However I can rip from the original disc and from an image of the disc on HD.
The burned CD plays fine in my home stereo CD-player.
I recall one or two discs a long, long time ago that I could dupe but I couldn't dupe from the duped copy. I had to return to the original to create an image and dupe.
