Problems opening MAC image file

i’m having some problems opening up a mac image file. it’s a data file and has a .toast extension. on most of the occasions, i’m able to just rename the .toast to .iso and extract it using ultraiso. but on some cases, it gives me the following error:

“ISO 9660 Volume not Found!”

I’ve tried isobuster and isocommander but to no success.

Is there a solution to this?

Any advice would be greatly appreciate it!

The key is that some toast images are ‘hybrids’–contain both HFS and ISO formats using a common data set–while others are plain HFS with no ISO.

The solution is to use burning software that supports the toast format. There are several for the PC, but I can think only of Nero.
