Problems burning Data DVD with Nero

Hi.
I tried to burn a data dvd with nero this weekend. It finished the caching of the files, but during the burn process it said “communication failure” and then the burn process failed. I tried to burn at different speeds, 4x 8x but still the same problem. Now what the heck communication failure means? And what can I do to fix it? Please help. Here’s the log:

Try just using the image recorder in Nero first.

Create an ISO image from it for your data disc. Then try burning that image with ImgBurn. This will help determine whether the problem lies with Nero or the burner.

BTW that’s a fairly old version of Nero. Did you get it with another burner before?

There have been problems with the power supplies on some LG 4167s but I don’t know what the symptoms have been.

Why don’t you try new Nero like 7.0.1.2. I’m using it and i don’t have any problems.
I think that Nero 6 is not a best choice. I had problems with that version too.
You can also try to flash your firmware maybe that will help.
