PROBLEM WITH: TSSTcorp CD/DVDW TS-H552L

Hello everyone,

I’m having a problem with my cd/dvd burner.

I use my computer for buisiness, home movies, and the occasional torrent movie.

The problem I encountered today is, my Samsung Writer : TSSTcorp CD/DVDW TS-H552L does not recognize a DVD burner.

I even went into the driver properties, and it plays music, dvd’s, games etc. But I’m not able to burn any movie dvd’s… every single software I have that have the ability to burn and produce movies says no DVD Burner found on this computer…

Please help. :confused:

Welcome to the Forum.

For troubleshooting purposes suggest installing the ImgBurn (http://www.imgburn.com) software program. After installing the ImgBurn (http://www.imgburn.com) software program Burn a Disk.Then post the complete full ImgBurn Log File for analyst.

I installed ImgBurn, and this is what I got @ startup log. :sad:

Unfortunately it appears that you have some type of Computer Virus.

Suggest viewing the below ImgBurn Forum posting by the author of the ImgBurn software program ->

The most likely source of your Computer Virus is that it was obtained by one of your Torrent downloads.

wow… thank you so much. I’m going to run my AVG Anti Virus, see if that helps… I’m surprised AVG or COMODO didn’t detect anything. :rolleyes:

BJKG you’re awesome!.. I used GMER and it got rid of it just like that… DVD Burner up and running!.. :bow::iagree:
