Problem with sound in pinnacle

I am currently running Pinnacle 10.

I have loaded my video into the software and spent hours editing it. I added music and titles etc and very nearly finished the project.

However, something happened whereby I removed some of the music and for some reason it has put some gaps in the sound (the sound of the video). Where the gap is, it shows as a grey block and you can’t right click or view properties of this grey section. I also can’t seem to drag the sound together to close the gap.

I really don’t want to start this project again - is there anyway I can either close the gaps, or remove the sound from the whole project (all the scenes), and readdit to make it right?
