[LEFT]Hello Everyone,

I have a problem; I’m trying to copy & burn a DVD.

I seem to do it all and then it fails on the burning part.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. I have attached the following log.

Thanks TinaS

This is likely a media problem. TTH02 (are they TDK-branded or other?) can be a bit variable. Have you tried with Verbatim discs?

Recorder: HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA-E10N, Media type: DVD-R

Also, you have a less common Adaptec driver on your system (ADPU160M.SYS), which may or may not be related to the problem.

Thanks so much Cressida,

I’m currently using TDK DVD-R discs. I’m going to purchase the Verbatim discs today.

As for the Adaptec driver i will also check into this.

Thanks again for you help.

Here’s some user comments on your TDK’s: http://www.videohelp.com/dvdmedia.php?selectmedia=2754#comments.

I don’t know what hard- or software installed that Adaptec driver on your system, so can’t advise on removing it. It’s probably not a prime concern anyway.

I did notice you have Nero installed in a strange location:

Installed in: C:\All DVD\Nero\Nero\

  • why not in C:\Program Files? You can try uninstalling Nero and running the CleanTool available from their website before re-installing.

Finally, if Nero still doesn’t do the trick, set the output from Decrypter or Shrink to ISO in stead of video folder/files. This ISO image file can be burned to disc again with Decrypter or ImgBurn (the updated version of Decrypter’s burn engine), thus avoiding the need for Nero completely.
