Problem with Prince of Persia T2T

I recently downloaded The Prince of Persia file. I have since deleted the game but I’m unable to remove the file folder called “Prince of Persia T2T” which has a file in it called data0.

Can anyone tell me how I remove this file and folder from my computer. I keep getting the message " Make sure the disk is not full or write-protected and that the file is not currently in use. "

Restoring won’t remove it will it?

Any help would be appreciated.

You could try Killbox.exe:

This site shows up on my antivirus as a dangerous web page.

How do I get Killbox.exe past my antivirus.

Can you tell I’m a newie to computers?

Hmm, doesn’t cause an alarm for me using MS Security Essentials. Scanned the file after downloading it too.

I don’t feel comfortable telling anyone to disregard virus warnings, even if it is probably a false positive. Looks like you’ll have to do it manually.

Which version of Windows are you using? You may need to take ownership of the file, change permissions, and/or stop any process that is using it.

You can try Process Explorer to see what all is running on your computer:

I’m using Windows XP Service Pack 3.

I’m using Trend PC-Cillin as my antivirus.

It’s fixed. I went to another site to get the KillBox download. I’ve downloaded it, deleted the file and rebooted. The file has now gone.

Thank you for all your help.
