Problem with Plasmon CDR's

Hello. I’ve got a strange problem. After burning CDRs ,made by plasmon (at the bottom of the messege i will paste the data that Smart-Burn gave) using Lite-On LTR53327s (second revision,latest firmware - qs57) the disks are not readable at all drives. The burner itself reads the disks perfectly,and the K-Probe scans are O.K. (relatively low number of C1 errors,no C2 errors) and my other burner (Ricoh MP7200A) reads the disks ,copies them as well. But… allmost all cd-roms , and my own DVD (toshiba SD-1502) can’t even recognice the disk (the led on the drive never stops blinking). What seems to be the problem? It happens at 48,32,12,16,24X burning speeds.

Here is the data on the CD :
Drive Type = CD-RW
Disc Type = CDR
Material = Phthalocyanine
Lead In = 97:27:19
Lead Out = 79:59:74
Nominal Capacity = 702.83MB
Manufacturer Maybe = Plasmon Data Systems Ltd.
SMART-BURN Speed Limit = 48X (Write)

Any suggestions?

Some cheap CDR’s have such low reflectivity that they are difficult to read even if they are burned correctly. I’ve seen that with Lead Data media.

What are you actually burning on them, VCD, data, audio, what?

I’ve burned DivX/Xvid movies on them.
If the problem is in discs,how come that other burners can burn them in a way that they ARE readable on CD-Rom drives?

Starting to sound more like an issue with the video disc format.
Are you burning them all the same?
