hey im trying to burn one of my movies and after it finishes burning i get

Please insert an empty disc to write to…

Disc required for the compilation: DVD+R/RW,DVD+R DL

Disc type in the recorder: Unknown

now i insert a blank DVD-R it has 4.7gb when the movie is only 4gb long any1 have a solution?

Can you give more informations?

What burner do you have? What software do you use to burn? What movie is? What media do you use?

The problem is proboly an incompatiablity with the disk type/manfacturer. Have you used this make and model of dvdv before?
but as Geno said we need more info
