I'm having a problem with my CDEx encoding FLAC files.... Here's what I got. I am using the FLAC frontend encoder program v1.7.1 Etree Edition's titled FLAC.exe. This is my parameter string: -8 -o %2 -T "artist=%a" -T "title=%t" -T "album=%b" -T "date=%y" -T "tracknumber=%tn/%tt" -T "genre=%g" -". File extension is flac. I have all three checkboxes clicked at the bottom (onthe fly encoding, Hide DOS box window, and send WAV to header stdin). I'm running WinXP Pro edition Version 2002 SP2. Now when I try to rip and compress the files right from my CD the program just closes instantly. I was thinking maybe I could create WAVs first and then convert them to FLAC... is this an OK option? Otherwise I was thinking maybe I should just uninstall and start over again. Any suggestions?
