hi guys i have a problem with trying to burn a dvd after i have used dvd shrink,i tryed to use nero 6 and dvd decryter but when i open the file it shows empty and when i ask to open all files it opens but will not allow me to burn it says unexpected file format when using nero and with dvd decryter it says invalid or unsupported image file format. pls help as im new at this
What output files you selected in dvd shrink?
Do you have an ISO file or a bunch of ifo, bup and vob files?
i have video files and vts files and vts_bup fils but no iso files and vob files
Ok.
Then to burn these files you must select the correct compilation, like in picture, and put all files in VIDEO_TS folder, not on the root of the disc.
DVD Decrypter is able to burn only ISO files, not vob. If you want to use decrypter for your burnings, then you must select ISO image as output in dvd shrink.
how do i select ISO image as output in dvd shrink, i went in to edit then preferances then were as i selected to burn with nero but gives an error

You can see the option to select ISO only after pressing the “Backup” button (see image).
Don’t use shrink with nero; often is faulty (too bad shrink is not more developed). Create files and then use you nero to burn them.
If you create an ISO file, I suggest you to use decrypter or ImgBurn (the latest version of the burning engine of decrypter) or cd-dvd speed
thanks that as solved one problem but previosly when i ran dvd shrink it would burn straight with nero,but when you go in to target device to set the iso image it gives me the choise to burn with dvd decryter and copy to dvd and not with nero, under nero it gives me the following D: QSI DVD±RW SDW-0825. WHAT CAN I DO TO SOLVE THIS PROBLEM. as i prefer to burn in nero
DVD shrink is not more developed. It give many problems in its automatic burn with nero. This issue affect many users and for what I know the only solution is to disable nero in preferences.
If you want to use nero to burn, then use nero to, but do it manually, i.e. save ISO image on HD and then open nero and burn the image.
Sorry 
Go into preferences and choose enable burning with Nero under the Fle I/O tab. The only problem I have had with it is not being able to choose the burn speed, so make sure that the blank media is the speed you wish to burn at.
i selacted burn with nero but gives an error report,i will try again and tell you exactly what the report says
tried that but it only makes a back up on to my hard drive and then tells me to choose a selected program to burn it,i can not under stand this as it was working in the past,when you go in to target device it does not give me the opion to burn wirh nero.??? this system did work why not now
Select your target dvd drive. The way DVD Shrink is set up you never actually see Nero. If you will be burning with your D: drive then select your D: drive.

I think you’re going to have give us a bit more information Gina. Please don’t pull your hair out, there are very few girls who can pull off the bald look successfully.
Which movie are you trying to back up? Is it a fairly new one? Some of them have advanced encryption that Shrink can’t handle on its own.
Just tell us what you’ve tried and exactly what is happening…don’t worry about writing too much. We’d rather have a lot of information than too little. As long as its legible, we’ll do our best to help.
