Problem with ADM 100

Hi !

I'm currently having a problem with my Lite-on 32X

I had updated the firmware but it seems that my ADM cd ( a 878 MB ) is considered by my cdwriter as a 139 Mb !!!

I don't understand. Does anyone had experienced the same thing ?

Yes, such oversized discs is strangely detected.

Just overburn up to the given capacity and it should be ok.

I’m currently using Nero. It doesn’t want to overburn it at all. Could you give me the name of another soft that support oversizing ?

Thx a lot

that’s normal with these ADM CDR’s. I had them too.
They are identified as 11minuts long.

To enable overburning in Nero you must enable it.
Do so by choosing File->Preferences->Expert Features->Enable overburning of disc.

Works for me in Nero.

File–>preferences–>Expert options–>enable overburn and make sure that you set it to the right capacity.

When writing:
Under the multisession tab: make sure that “no multisession” is ticked.
Under the burn tab: make sure that you write as “Disc at once” and that “finalize CD” is checked.

CloneCD and CD-Mate also works good for oversizing discs…
