The application likely creates an error log. The error log should help pin point the actual problem the software is having.
Are any other burning apps functional with your new burner?
Typically, burning apps only scan the system bus for burners during the installation process (installation of the software). If you add/change burners after the software is installed, they will typically not recognize the new burner. The typical fix is to uninstall and reinstall the software. This could also be what’s happening with your Pyro software.
But I would start with the error log as it could several other possibilities.
