Problem w/ BitSetting (edit: *disc* type gets recognized as +RW)

#1

I am using 451s@851s with firmware GSC2.
i have used omnipatcher to patch the firmware to auto bitsetting.

When i finished burned a DVD+R, this disc can be read by my Pioneer DVD-ROM, but it cannot be read by the original DVDR driver. It said:
“Window cannot read this Disc, the disc maybe error or not compatible with window”

this is a very strange problem!!!

I use the DVDInfo to check the burned disc
it show the media type is DVD+RW, not DVD+R (see the pic)
this make me very confuse.
Can anyone help me to solve this problem,
Thank you very much!

I wonder if it’s just an intermittent glitch. Try again? Maybe another program will give a second opinion? What does KProbe2’s Disc Info say?

I am using 451s@851s with firmware GSC2 (thx code65536)

When i use bitsetting to burn a DVD+R disc to DVD-ROM, the Disc Type will be changed to DVD+RW, not DVD+R.
and my DVDRW driver cannot read this disc anymore, but other DVD-ROM driver can read it normally.

I feel very strange about this, i suppose my DVDRW driver can read the disc normally.

Could anyone help me to solve the problem?
