Do you have a burn log so we can see what you have?

You may need to set the region code on the drive since it’s new. They will sometimes do weird stuff if you don’t.

try the dont eject sorce disc in settings worked for me

The region code is set properly. The error did not show up in the log.The drive is liteon 165h65…I have the don;t eject disc set. It’s just strange******************** Log session stop 16-May 11:39:03.343 PID 3740********************

that this is happening all of a sudden

P.S…though it says "new on forum " under my name,I’ve had dfab for 7-8 yrs. But never had the need to post till just of late:)

P.S.S.though the log shows 5052, the log is the same for v6…the error box pops up on both

I would try dumping the VSO burning engine and try ImgBurn. VSO seems to be a problem for a lot of folks.

Hey…:)…Would imgburn work just like vso…automatically with dfab?Or would ithave to be opened separately in order to use it? Be it that it is…Dfab is just about idiot proof…hence my purchase of the proggy{lol}…Sometimes i need help lickin’ a stamp…LOL…thanx B:bow:

See “Setup” below in my signature below, ImgBurn is the best

SJ to the rescue! Yeah bandog101 just follow the instructions and ImgBurn is as automatic as the VSO engine - only better!
