When I try to split AVI files, I get the following message.“Virtualdub has detected an improper VBR audio encoding in the source AVI file and will rewrite the audio header with standard CBR values during processing for better compatability. This may introduce up to 17535 ms of skew from the video stream.” If I press “OK”, it splits them for me, but the audio/video sync is not right when completed. I would think maybe its the particular AVI, but it happens with every AVI I try it with. It didnt always do this, I used to be able to split with no problems. Can anyone help? Thanks
VirtuaDub can not handle VBR audio. Use Nandub or VirtualDubMod.
I tried virtualdubmod and got the same message, only this time it asked me if I wanted to rewrite the header.
