Toy Story 3 has a phenonemal amount of protection on it.

The latest version will do this disc but it can take up to ten minutes to scan.

What version are you using?

Nevermind - I ripped it from a 2nd DVD drive and it worked fine.

Good. :iagree:

I hear that there are some quality issues with certain pressings of this movie (which may well have been made worse by the excessive protection measures) so it could be the case that yours is one of these borderline discs.

i had the same problem and the same report. i only have 1 CD-Rom in Computer. Plus i used dvd shrink so i can safe space.

dvd shrink cant read the cd now and im using the 6.7.2.0 version i try to rip direcrlty to hardrive with the AnyDvd but is still to big so why cant i used dvd shrink now?

#6

DVDShrink hasn’t been updated in quite a number of years now and can have problems with rips produced from heavily protected discs.

Try running the ripped files through FixVTS first then see if DVDShrink will process them.

DVD Shrink becamse Nero Recode (if you’re interested) and still doesn’t handle protected discs well at all.

Look like by Ripping it to hardrive with the anydvd and then used dvd shrink it work. But can’t directly from the DVD.

If FixVTS sorts it for you then you can continue using DVDShrink.

So basically the process would be, rip to hard disk, process all the files with FixVTS then try DVDShrink and see if it works.

FixVTS is really quick so it’ll add very little time to the process.

It would also help if you set the Region on your DVDRW Drive.:flower:
