[qanda]This thread is about the Sony AD-7203S Black. Click here to see full specs[/qanda]Ok, sorry if I come off like a complete idiot, but, I'm a complete newb.
I know its always best to provide a nero burn failure report (I don't know what its really called), but, I don't have one, so I'll provide as much info as possible.
Once upon a time, I had a LiteOn Drive/Burner (No idea which model).
I was using Nero 6.
I was using 90 minute CD-Rs
I was able to easily overburn about 94 minutes onto a 90 minute CD-R.
The burn would fail at the end, but the CD would still play perfectly.
Now, I have:
I'm using Nero 7.
I'm now not able to overburn as much onto 90 minute CD-Rs.
So, I tried SILVER DIGIT 99 minute CD-Rs (Made in Italy).
I'm not even able to fit more than 92 minutes onto the 99 minute CD-Rs.
I have the overburn options set up right in nero 7.
My question is this:
Is it my new Burner, or Nero 7 that is making it so that I can't overburn as much as I used to?
As I said, I cant even fit 93 minutes onto a 99 minute CD-R.
Is there a firmware upgrade that I need for the burner?
Again, I sorely apologize for the lack of info.
I would provide more, but I don't have any more 99 minute CD-Rs with which to get a burn failure report.
Any help would be beyond appreciated.
