Problem, Nero 7 ultra data burning

I use Nero 7 ultra edition. I burned a data dvd. The files were avi files, tv shows. It said “Verification Failed” and the disc was ejected. So I checked the disc and played the files and it played fine. My question is should I try to burn a new disc or just keep this disc? Thanks In Advance.

Many users reported problems with nero verify option. I had some problems when using v6.6. But now with the latest nero 7, I don’t have any problems.

Why don’t you try the “fc /b” command to compare the original and burned files?

Whats the “fc /b” command? sorry I am not a computer person.

Let’s say your burning drive is G:
and your original files are stored in folder “movies” in drive D:

For WinXP:
Start->Programs->Accessories->Command Prompt

Then you can give the fc command, as in the example below:
fc /b d:\movies\file1.avi G:\file1.avi

If you see a message that there are no differences, you’re OK, IMHO

fc means FileCompare …
