Problem creating BWA, MDS file of Gorky Zero

I’m not able to create a BWA or MDS file using BB5.1, Alcohol or BWA Builder 2002. The game is Gorky Zero with 1 data track and 16 audio tracks protected by SecuROM 5.02.01.0006.

-Using Alcohol I got this error:

21:16:19 Processor info: Intel® Pentium® 4 CPU 2.60GHz (2605MHz)
21:16:21 Disc dumping: (G  TOSHIBA DVD-ROM SD-M1712(1:1)

21:23:18 Disc dumping completed!
21:23:18 G:\GORKYZERO.mds: Image file writing completed!

-Using BWA Builder 5.1 I’m getting the same error take a look at the end of the post, don’t know how to insert the Image below this one :).

-BWA Builder 2002 won’t even recognize the disc.
I created a CCD image using Protected PC Game profile and used CDmage checking for errors. Got a total error count of 151, starting at sector 134’097 and ending at sector 134’250.

These are the data files on the disc (except audio tracks):

E:\GZero.ico
E:\Install.lst
E:\Install.txt
E:\License.txt
E:\Uninstall.exe
E:_gzuninstall.pif
E:\autorun.inf
E:\bin
E:\data
E:\install.exe
E:\bin\JoWooDreg.url
E:\bin\ar.exe
E:\bin\game.exe
E:\bin\ijl10.dll
E:\bin\jowood.url
E:\bin\metropolis.url
E:\bin\standard_game.feel
E:\data\freespacemaps.pak.z
E:\data\globals.pak.z
E:\data\lightmaps.pak.z
E:\data\scenes.pak.z
E:\data\sounds.pak.z
E:\data emplates.pak.z
E:\data extures.pak.z

Total number of folders = 2
Total number of files = 22

So the error appears at the end of the data track and beginning of the first audio track. Ripping the audio tracks is not a problem they are including some music of the game. It’s not possible to create a MDS or BWA file from a mixed data, audio CD?

Thanks for any help

edit: just saw the error I got once using BB5.1 is not included in the screenshot. It’s written that there appears a error around sector 133950.

Indeed these programs cannot “measure” the density of audio tracks yet, because they read the CD sector by sector with either the READ or SEEK command, so when the drive is ordered to read an audio sector as a data sector, it returns an error.

Still the first 2 ranges of spikes in you bwa file should be enough to fool securom.

Thanks for the info docdocdoc9
