Problem copying Alvin and the Chipmunks

The read went normally, I have appropriate sized files in the folder but when the burn starts, it only takes a few seconds and then reports that the burn was successful. Of course, a few seconds didn’t actually write the movie to the disk.

Same diska I’ve used dozens of times without a problem. There is an error in the burn log.

i suggest getting different dvd-r’s. those tdk seem to be the problem. also could give imgburn a try instead of vso. check out my video for setting up dvdfab and imgburn.

These TDK’s are off a spool of 100 and there are about 15 left. The other 85 burned perfectly. It seems to be something specific to this dvd. I’ll try copying something else just to make sure.

Thanks,

Tom

For what it’s worth, I had no trouble at all with this particular movie. It’s small enough you can even do a “clone” copy onto a standard DVD±R (rather than having to use a DL disc).

Looks like you are using DAO packet writing. change it to SAO writing. I had no problem backing this movie up using dvdfab platinum full disc

ImgBurn uses DAO. I don’t think it could be that.

I’d like to thank everyone for their help. I switched the burn engine to ImgBurn and it worked fine.

Thanks,

Tom
