I want to copy my BluRay 3D movies to my computer so that I can stream them to my TV. I used the default settings to create a MP4 SBS half-width, medium quality bit rate MP4 and streamed it to my TV.
I was able to stream it, but the quality of the 3D was pretty poor. The 3D was not very sharp, and I felt a bit of the vertigo that comes from a bad 3D movie.
Playing the BluRay directly, the 3D was extremely crisp, no disorientation, etc.
I tried changing to SBS full-width and original bit rate quality, but for some reason, PavTube failed and was not able to create an MP4 at all.
Is there any way to get a streamable MP4 with 3D quality (roughly) equivalent to the BluRay?
My TV is:
It's passive 3D if that makes any difference. I doubt it matters, but the particular movie I was experimenting with is Despicable Me 2. I'm using the newest PavTube Video Converter Ultimate.
I'm happy to play with different settings, but given the amount of time it takes to burn a 3D movie, I'd like to get some direction if possible.
Thanks in advance.
