Problem burning a backup - ripping 2 ways both fine

Hi. I’m trying to make a backup of a DVD to travel with, and no matter which way I rip it, I get an error upon trying to burn.

I ripped it as an ISO with DVD Decrypter, and I also tried to do “full back-up” with DVD Shrink, copying the files to my hard drive.

When I tried to burn it with DVD Decrypter, I got an error message (which, sorry, I failed to copy,) (the program also said, “Oh, no!” which I found funny.) And when I tried to burn with DVD Shrink, I get the error message I attached at the bottom. Does anyone know what this problem? Each time, it makes the new DVD into a coaster. :frowning:

This is a new burner, but I sucessfully created a back-up DVD yesterday. I did that one entirely with DVD Decrypter (these are 1-hour DVDs.) Some time after that, I did load the software that came with the burner (Nero, Lightscribe, etc.)

I tried the exact same procedure with just DVD Decrypter today, with no success. I don’t need any of that software, I guess, if that might be the problem.

It’s driving me crazy, because I can SEE the video preview during the encoding process on DVD shrink.

Error message from DVD Shrink:
