Thanks. I’m considering buying them in a bigger pack, as I already said, although I’m nothing more then a home user, because of their superb quality and name (and because I see thet all of great media brands incorporate these discs in their products - Maxell, PrimeDisc, Fuji, and so on:iagree: ) and, most of all, excellent price given those criteria, because they are not 4x but 2.4x, and I really don’t mind waiting 6-7 minutes longer. And they cost almost as equally as some stupid medias like YiJhan, Princo or An32 :Z which I would burn 2x anyway despite their 4x certification because of their poor readabilty.
In addition to that, I live in Serbia (btw hello Serbs everywhere )and here quality discs are not so easy to find, and even if they are found they are extremely expensive, especially when I see your prices…for example, Yuden and Verbatim are around 1.8-2.0€ and Princo and AN32 are 1€ if you manage to find them.
And what’s worst of all , local dealers are that much arrogant that they are selling shity medias as some trully great names. For example, everywhere in the town I can find YiJhan 001 which they sell as no less than Ritek G04 :a And many people buy them, and then of course they become disappointed. I wouldn’t be surprised that this has been done on purpose, because some small dealers started importing some quality media (like Ritek G04) and because of rather small quantities they were sold trully rapidly, but afterwards the news were spread and many people wanted more Ritek, and those who bought burners in the meantime were also notified. And then this happened, like someone wanted to destroy the name of Ritek in Serbia and make home users turn towards Princo/Plasmon again (and of course get ridd of YiJhan medias), and many people simply don’t know what they are buying or how to use dvd info pro
To add an insult to injury, one of two men who were importing Ritek is now in jail, I wouldn’t be surprised that someone of Princo/Plasmon importers set him up.
This market is very much inert, people mostly buy dvd medias according to analogy with cd medias - they have always used Princo and Verbatim (but not some good verbatim, but some shit from India and so on…)
ANyway, thanks !
