Pregap + CloneCD

I believe that CloneCD can read the pregap information. At least with my multimedia audio CD.

I have a JLMS 165H (CH11 - Region Free :)) and I also had this multimedia audio CD. It wasnt being read by either my 165H or my 5246S so I made an image of it using the Multimedia Audio CD profile and mounted it in Daemon Tools.

Heres my proof regarding the pregap. I havent tried with a SafeDisc game but who knows. Prehaps its only hardware dependant?

Anyway, I found this to be interesting.

Any ideas?

I wantto mess with this. Where is the Log kept? Does it need to be anabled to log events, I dont seem to have a log.

Its easy. Just press ‘L’ when your using CloneCD, or go Tools->Log.

No where is it stored locally on the hdd. Obviosuly if its a log file it can be opened with a text editor like notepad and should be stored somewhere. I did a search but can’t find it. Is it embedded in the exe or somewhere else in CCD?

Its only available when your doing something in CloneCD. Like my 1st post, that was the log after CloneCD had finished. Then I had to go File->Save otherwise, it would have been cleared when CloneCD was closed.

Thank you FutureProof

Couldnt have explained it better myself.

I think (but I’m not sure)that the problem is the pregap between sector -150 and 0. Of course, someone could explain it better than me.
