PP2 IDE to USB SATA PCIe interface - update

Hello there,
First of all, nice to meet you guys, first thread started here.
I’m not so sure who still use these days CD burners but…

I am interested to internally integrate the CD-RW IDE unit (Plextor Plexwriter Premium 2) using the existing mainboard interface USB 3, Sata 3, PCIe mostly in burning CD’s with AMQR not in ripping. As far as I’ve read, using a IDE converter can be a tricky job and there are some variables including chip manufacturer, etc.

Having said that,
-Is there anyone that have been used one of the above solutions without experiencing transfer problems / buffer underrun/ loss of quality?
-Which OS / Firmware / Burning Software,

Thanks

I am interested in something like this, did anyone have any experience with?
Delock PCI Express Card > 2 x internal SATA 6 Gb/s + 1 x internal IDE

I have my Premium2 in an external Case.
It is from Astech and USB 2.0
With Nero Burning Rom i cannot burn with AMQR, but when i use Plextor Professional 3.16XL i can do everything.
Maybe Nero uses the wrong command.

The Astech Enclosures are real good and cheap, i like them.
I have 5 of them in use, everythings fine.
