Powerdown?

Have Gigabyte Intel Express Chipset 945 GC. After shutdown peripherals still get power signal. The mouse laser light stays on, screen still says no signal but still remains active and modem on usb still remains flashing the led. The keyboard’s light’s are not on.:confused: How do I get them to go off without pulling the plug?

Did you check the Power Options?

From the Control Panel

Yup, Power Options, first way to check.

Maybe also check the BIOS power options.

But, its best to switch that little trigger (?) on the PSU.

Looked at power options and bios. Looked in bios under S1, S3 Acpi functions. Can I be missing something? Looked before posting thread. See no trigger (offswitch) on Psu.

some PSUs have no switch. in the power options, made shut off times a short as you can live with. In BIOS it depends on the options each MB has different ones. you can get a small external switch so you can turn off the PSU.
