I’m getting the “power calibration” error on Drive D and on Drive E, I’m getting an error that instructs me to insert a CD/R formatted disk. Of course, I am using a CD/R formatted disk! I use Maxell or Sony media. I’ve tried lowering my burn speed, but that did not work. I have also been using Nero 7, but recently tried different software, and received the same errors. This computer is less than a year old. Im using Windows XP Home Edition and LITE-ON DVDRW LH-20A1L. Thank you for whomever’s time I take up to help me resolve this! Layla
You are Welcome!
Try first upgrade the Firmware. http://www.firmwarehq.com/Lite-On/LH-20A1L/files.html and try it again.
If it doesn’t work, try another Media.
The best Media for CD is Taiyo Yuden.
DVD=Verbatim DVD+R 16X (MCC004)
