Move/merge this if there is another thread just like it here.

Yamaha CRW-F1 f/w 1.0G
Maxell Music CD-R MIJ (purchased at Walgreens)
Manufacturer: : Taiyo Yuden
MID : 97m24s01f
Burned at 8x using Nero 5.5.10.56 Burn time 9:03
AMQR=On
This disc was also Disc T@2’d after burning using Nero 5.5.10.56
It is not a full disc but burned really nice
This disc does not play in all my pc ODD’s both CD-RW and DVD burners i have installed at this time. I have not tried it in my vehicles yet.
The BenQ 1655 and the Plextor Premium-U scans are very near the same.

Sorry for 2 posts. I had so many scans to post.
This disc does not play in all my pc ODD’s both CD-RW and DVD burners i have installed at this time. I have not tried it in my vehicles yet.
Update:
I tried this same AMQR burned AudioCD in the following drives and the results are as follows:

Plextor Premium-U plays and scans it fine.
Yamaha F1 plays it fine.
Lite-On 20A4P plays it fine.
Plextor Premium II freaks out with blinking led.
BenQ 1655 skips on first track but scans it just fine. That’s the only track i tested.
BenQ 1620 freaks out with blinking led.
BenQ 1640 freaks out with blinking led.
LG GSA H42N plays it fine.
LG GSA H62L plays it fine.
Pioneer 215D@L plays it fine.
Samsung SH S223F freaks out with blinking led.

Also with these set top players the results are as follows:

Toshiba HD-A3 HD-DVD plays it fine.
Samsung DVD-P241 plays it fine.
RCA DRC285 plays it fine.

And finally my Jeep Liberty (2002) and Pontiac Sunfire (2003) in dash CD players play it fine.

Note I only tested the first track on all these drives. With the BenQ 1655 skipping on the first track i figure if any of them play the first track fine then it probably will play all the tracks.

Yamaha CRW-F1 1.0g
Tevion 24x branded Ritek CD-R burned at 16x

not bad, but jitter is better on recent Pioneer burners.

Yamaha CRW-F1 1.0g
RiDisc 52x branded CMC CD-R burned at 16x

again a good result for this batch of CMC CD-Rs.

Yamaha CRW-F1 1.0g
Quixo branded 4M CD-R (650MB, Cyanine) burned at 1x with AMQR

typical high BLER for these discs, but they seem to be very compatible nontheless.

Tested in various burners/players:

Yamaha CRW-F1 - plays perfect
Plextor PX-716A - shows Audio CD, but is not able to play it
BenQ DW1650 - scans and plays it fine, but seems to have problems reading it (high drive activity while playing)
Pioneer DVR-216L - no disc
Pioneer DVR-112L - no disc
LiteOn iHAS222 - no disc
LiteOn DH-20A4P - no disc

PSX - plays perfect
PSone - plays perfect
Playstation 2 (v9) - plays perfect
Sega Saturn - plays perfect
Sega Dreamcast - plays perfect
Philips CDi - plays perfect
SilverCrest DVD-Player - plays perfect
DVD-Player 2 - plays perfect
DVD-Recorder - plays perfect
Philips Audio System - plays perfect
Tevion Audio Cube - plays perfect
(first and last track tested)

Pics of DiscT@2 on that CD-R and of my CDi playing it below
