Can anyone explain the behavior of my PX-755 please.
Thanks in advance.

Tests disc quality for DVDs on the Plextor PX-755A \ 760 do not work correctly in OptiDriveControl.
You need to test those models for software PlexTool XL 3.16 Prof.

Did you use this media with other drives?

Do you have tried it with 8x?

My experience with the old Plextor-made DVD-writers is: Did the drive writer more slowly than the selected speed the result is mostly bad.

@Two_Degrees
can you please tell me how can i config my Nero CD-DVD Speed with ‘Advanced Disc Quality’ and 'TA Jitter’
Many thanks in advance

#1182

It’s not available with that drive. It’s only available with BenQ drives (& select LiteOn models support TA Jitter scanning).

Genuine Plextor drives also have such a feature, though they can’t be used with CD-DVD Speed. (I’m not sure what features are supported on the current Plextor-badged LiteOn models.)

#1183

Congratulations on your haul! Finding new sealed Plextors from ~2006 takes a bit of luck indeed!
