Lite-On - iHAP122 - UL05

Bought the drive last week here in Brazil. Checked the firmware since I wanted the last one. To my surprise my drive came with 05 but the most up to date on Lite-On’s site is 02. WTF!? Took 2 screen shots from Nero Info Tool and the firmware utility, made a backup, packed with 7-Zip and here it is in case someone needs.

Peace.

PS: Tried to upload to the board but the system wouldn’t take files above 200Kb and with the extension .7z . Could the admin, please, update the upload rules to allow at least 7-Ziped files? Thanks.

I got my iHAS424 w/ ZL1B fw - I sucessfully updated to ZL1F from your site codeguys.rpc1.org - but when I try to flash my drive w/ ZL1N, I get an error writing flash, is there a reason why I might be getting this, I am using an IOGEAR 4 port Esata card (Silicon Image 3114 chip) and a Vantec external drive enclosure, but I had no problem flashing ZL1F, now I can’t do ZL1N. I’ll try hooking the drive up directly to sata ports on mobo and see what happens, meanwhile has anyone had trouble flashing w/ this new fw???

Other than you’re using it externally vs me internally that’s what I received from NewEgg on my iHAS424-08, ZL1B.

Yet I did flashed using the same files and methods, ZL1B > ZL1F > Zl1N without problem.

Try re-downloading ZL1N as I had WinRAR report an “unexpected end of archive” error on my first couple attempts at downloading ZL1N.

Notice NewEgg has now removed(Deactivated) the iHAS424-08??? Not being thrilled at knowing this and the seemingly rapid fw releases, last night I went and ordered two AD-7240S-0B’s. Be sending the 424’s back as I’m hunching something weird is going on with them.
