Yeah! I’m sure you post in the interest of fairness and have no financial interest whatsoever. While you might be the last guy on the Internet operating a “legit” porn site I find it amazing that a kid can not even begin to surf the Internet without being bombarded by smut from warez sites promoting stealing software while promoting online porn. I think everyone gets who is paying for that action.
It is incredible the things people call legit these days, but you apparently have the right to sell your goods as long as your community allows it. I just can’t muster a lot of sympathy for the industry. If my observations make me ignorant I am hoping your church going customers pray that I get worse.
I am not involved in the lawsuit so my only gain is to sell what I produce rather then have it stolen. Is that not reasonable and pretty American? As for your thinking everyone gets a cut of torrent downloads, comon man, torrents are full of intellectual property of all kinds and like a movies studio or singer it does not benefit me to have 100ks of people get my stuff for free. Your logic is off.
As for children parents need to protect their children from a great deal of things online, trust me sex is not the most dangerous thing out there. I use three different services that block my site from children provided a parent has used even the most basic censoring software. I require this of the people I work with as well. This is common place. In fact if you want to highlight my greed, lets do that. Children don’t have credit cards and we don’t take cash so why do I want kids there?
What I want is for people to take a second and realize that the “Porn” biz has good legal elements as well. When someone like you calls me a coke addict because I want to protect something I work hard to make and invest time into, that is where I feel the need to speak up and highlight weak thought processes.
