Porn was a big deal in the VHS v. Betamax battle because the only alternative at the time was putting on the 'ol raincoat and either wanking in the back of an adult book store or sitting in a dilapidated theater with questionable liquid substances coating the floor. CD-ROM and DVD offered new levels of interactivity and quality. The only new experience the HD formats offer is the ability to see genital razor burn and previously camouflaged cellulite. HD-DVD porn isn’t competing with Blu-ray porn; it’s competing with Firefox and Internet Explorer porn.

:d Does blu-ray porn get your little rock off? :B :B :B :B :B :B

You don’t want to see HD porn, trust me. Too much detail is not pretty.

I saw that the actual porn actresses (I use that term loosely) were a little put off by the final movie as it made all their faults show up as if being magnified. Finally porn stars with no “augmentations”.

If Afterburner gave his wrist a rest sooner, he would have found out…Sooner.

“HD DVD has been of significant help in getting out titles” I thought that said tities and not “titles”

Porn did NOT win the Beta/VHS war. There was plenty of porn available in Beta, and even before it was even available on VHS. There were also not only 2 Beta machines (expensive and cheap junk), there was quite a range from several manufacturers. Most of the VHS machines available at that time were junk, even some of the expensive ones. Disney has a reason to not want to use a replicator that also handles porn. Some years back, there was an issue with a VHS replicator that apparently re-used some media that had been first recorded with Porn, and for some reason not throughly erased before using it to replicate Disney material (happened with some Barney titles and I believe some Schoolhouse Rock titles too) - the result being that after the main feature, there was, er, BONUS material. (I worked in retail at the time, we had to pull about 10-20 titles off the shelves and ship them back. Security opened a few of them but didn’t find anything.)
