I would like to no this we curently no what the best 48125W and S firmware is at the moment and thats the Vs08 Firmware !

because people have 40125W / 40125S had overclocked to 48125W already

I’ve bought a Cactus 200 disc for that purpose. Firmware VS06 can’t rip it (EAC crashes with “detect toc manually”, other progs report all sectors bad), while VS08 doesn’t have any problem with it. Ripping speed must be set to 4x, but most drives require low speed for reading Cactus 200.
Shakira - Laundry Service (Key2Audio V2) has not been recognised as a CD with VS06. Now with VS08, Sector 0 is reported being bad in CloneCD, but ripping works flawlessly.

For Shakira, someone has posted the same experience in the other poll.

I haven’t tried with WS09, but I’m going to check if this one can also read these discs.
