I couldn’t crossflash either from 891SAF to 891SAF PLUS (though iHAS324 F to 891SAF worked fine).

Verbatim 8x DVD+R DL
Branded
MKM 003 (Made in UAE)
PX-891SAF PLUS (1.K5)

Strangely, 4x is the only supported speed for this MID. :eek:

@KTL
It isn’t possible to write firmware in the memory of the writer… Most probably some cause is…
Very much the situation is similar from DH24ABSH structure and with the version DH16ABSH REV.71 hardware…

@jadburner
Whether I am able to give PX-891SAF PLUS accurate data from my factory Plextor to the version chipset, version hardware from the motherboard and and Flash of Idas \ \ Type Flash from the program Utility 7 Flash?

@Master80

Please could you be so fine to provide us with your 1.T2 firmware? Thanks in advance.

Would compatibility with PlexUtilities be one of the capabilities? :slight_smile:
Would compatibility with PlexUtilities be one of the capabilities? :)
Not exactly. PlexUtilities v1.3.3.1 recognizes the drive, however I tried to scan a DVD+R DL burn and it would only scan the second layer. I also tried with PlexTools v1.0.0.2, but that version would not recognize the drive. Perhaps a more recent version might work.

This is what I get with FU for this drive.

Thanks, jadburner. Maybe the capability is something reserved for the retail drive? Assuming your drive isn’t from a retail package.

Correct, my drive was bulk. However, I haven’t seen a retail version of the drive yet.
