I don’t get it… the Premium doesn’t offer DVD-RAM support, but the external does? I still use my 52x32x52 PREMIUM… why isn’t this PREMIUM also burn cd’s at 52x?

only 2mb buffer for premium drive? I thought it would be 8mb

I left Plextor an email wondering why the buffer size on all of the new drives went from 8mb to 2mb? Maybe because they are rebadged Teac drives? I’ll keep my 716a. Best Buy doesn’t even sell the 716a anymore. They have the lower end 740a.
