well, you are seeing it.
There was an error and Nero is only able to say " invalid field in CDB". That's not very helpful.
IMO, Nero = too big = too many programmers = too many bugs.
There was a bug that removed the last sector of all tracks for a lot of months (from 188.8.131.52 to 184.108.40.206).
Old bugs that were corrected, sometimes appear again in later versions, so you lose confidence in the product. (The burning engine in Nero5 was "inherited" from Feurio and worked well in the first versions, but already doesn't work as it should in Win98).
Apart from that, the interface isn't very good.
It doesn't remember the settings you prefer, always 2 seconds pauses between tracks by default, stupid way to make an image, too simple buttons to play your compilation (Play and stop - wow), etc.
And it lacks some features like seamless playing when the tracks are not multiple of a CD-DA sector (WAVs captured from a vinyl for instance).
Nero isn't bad. In fact, it's good when it works as supposed.
But there are better programs.
If you try other programs, please report if they work with CD-Text enabled.
