Can the firmware be rolled back from 1.03 to 1.02?
Do you recommend going to the 1.03 firmware? I just got my Plextor with 1.02 firmware after having so many problems with my Sony. I tend to think some of the firmwares are what cause a lot of my problems with my Sony later.
Has anyone seen any real improvements with media and burn quality?
Yes,you can downgrade from 1.03 to 1.02 .
the 1.03 is the best so far as it has fixed more bugs and added more media to the firmware.

I agree with NoLimit, firmware 1.03 is the best version since it has the best media compatibility. When you don’t like v1.03 you can go back to 1.02 but keep in mind that when you have v1.01 and flash with a newer version you cannot go back to v1.01.
