Hi!
I just bought a new recorder for my pc, it’s a Plextor 48/24/48A but I’m having lot’s of problems with it
I managed to record a couple of cd’s without big problems, but then the problems started, the recording time started to increase and I was needing 7 minutes to record 700MB at 48x!!! I foundd out the problem, the drive tranfer mode was set to PIO, I managed to change it back to UDMA 2.
Now I set the drive to record at 48x, it starts, takes 3 minutes and 30 seconds to burn a 700MB avi file and when it ends Nero reports a write speed of 32x ???
But this isn’t the main problem, after the record ends I tested the file by copying it back to the hard drive and it gives me an error (cyclic redundacy error) meaning that the avi is corrupt
This is hapenning in 80% of the cd’s I try to burn.
I’m using nero and plextools.
What can be the problem ?
My PC :
