Can someone please help me to flash my 112L back to 112D.

Couldn’t find a DVR-112L, but there is a DVR-111L (OEM) DVR-112 (BK,SV,CH,CHE,CHG) and DVR 112D (BK,SV)

I appreciate your help but I don’t see any instructions on flashing back to original pioneer firmware
I appreciate your help but I don’t see any instructions on flashing back to original pioneer firmware
Just find the correct flash from the list, you have to use the drop down boxes to locate your drive.

http://www.cdrinfo.com/Sections/Firmware/SingleModel.aspx?DriveId=1425 This download is for the DVR-112. Make sure your’s is not DVR-112D.

This firmware will not flash my drive unless it already has official firmware. I need help to get my drive from buffalo back to official pioneer…

Well, I must admit you have lost me. You said, Can someone please help me to flash my 112L back to 112D. But, there is no 112L, at least I can’t find that model. Your drive comes with the firmware already installed from the factory, so I don’t understand what you mean when you say, This firmware will not flash my drive unless it already has official firmware. Then you say, I need help to get my drive from buffalo back to official pioneer… Meaning what? If you install the wrong flash, you may not be able to install another. You would need to use a eprom programmer to re-write the flash chip … however that also means that you would need much more info … and would need to be done manually … and assuming that the flash is removable ie in a socket … these days they are soldered onto the printed circuit boards. Well, good luck. Perhaps, someone else will stop by and offer a solution.

@ jcusimano2,

Below are download links to DVR-112 Firmwares ->

DVDR-112 -> http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_firmware.php?download_id=2385

DVR-112D -> http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_firmware.php?download_id=2331

DVR-112L -> http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_firmware.php?download_id=2332

Perhaps it would be helpful if you explained EXACTLY why you desire to change from DVD-112L to DVR-112D Firmware. The Buffalo DVD-112L Firmware the more “Full Featured” Firmware and reverting back to Pioneer DVR-112D Firmware isn’t going to “Correct” any perceived “Firmware Problems” that you imagine that you might have. If you explained your “Firmware Problem” knowledgeable Forum Members will be able assist you with your DVR-112L/DVD112D “Problem”.
