Ok, here's what i've done.
Xvid copy of haunted mansion at 23.97 fps, split audio (as a wav file) from video with virtualdub, changed video framerate to 25fps (PAL) using virtualdub, changed audio to 25fps and .mp2 format using besweet, then ran the video stream through tmpgenc, put the resulting .m2v and .mp2 files into DVD Lab, which I also used to create menus, chapter points etc and then to compile ready for burning. This is where i'm hitting my problem
I'm using Power DVD (ver 4) to play back the DVD files from my hard disk and although the audio is fine, the video seems to jump, like it's stopping for a moment then speeding through the next few frames to catch up with audio. It does this on and off through most of the film. I've done other films the same way and not had any probs. I've checked the .m2v file that tmpgenc creates and it plays fine, so the prob must be in the compiling process in DVD Lab, right?
Can anyone please shed some light on this prob, it's driving me mad
