PLease help - DL burn problem

I would be grateful for advice. I have done two DL burns on my LG GSA-4120. The first one was totally successful, and the disc seems perfect in all respects. The second one failed - I left it to itself and came back, and the log file seems to indicate that it failed early in the piece, about one minute after start…"(Sense Key: 0x05 (KEY_ILLEGAL_REQUEST)" and then “#28 CDR -1064 File Writer.cpp, Line 304 Invalid block address”…

Does anybody know what this means? (full log below)

I have installed a few things since my first successful burn - the only burning related thing is BlindWrite, which has it’s own burning layer - but I already had CopyToDVD installed which uses same layer.

I will keep exploring… any advice welcome, thanks

Anyone? any ideas?

 I also have the above burner, with the 4120B designation. It says it is dual layer compatible, as does the DVD authoring program I am using, Adobe Encore DVD 1.5. When I try to burn a DVD, I don’t even get as far as you have. The media is incompatible, it tells me. I have tried 5 printable DVD +R DL discs from 1 spindle and tried another DVD +R DL out of a shrink wrapped jewel box. They are both from the same manufacturer, RIDATA, but obviously made on a different line, or at least different times. Does anyone have any suggestions?

The MKM001 discs are usually made by Verbatim and should be burnable without problems.
