I just moved back to the US after spending 5 years in Luxembourg.
In Luxembourg, I bought a multizone Panasonic DVD player, and had no problem watching any movies on my Sony TV. As far as I know, the TV was nothing special.
I assumed that when I moved back to the US, all I would have to do is buy a US voltage multi-zone DVD player in order to watch all the Zone 2 DVDs I had bought in Europe.
I bought a Magnavox 26" LCD TV, and started looking for a multi-zone player.... however, I am starting to see various bits of information that make it sound like it's not as easy as I thought it would be (or, at least as easy as it was to watch Zone 1 DVDs was in Europe).
So: will a multizine DVD player allow me to watch my Zone 2 DVDs on my US TV, or am I going to need to invest also in a PAL-NTSC converter?
