[qanda]This thread is about the Pioneer DV-400V-K. Click here to see full specs[/qanda]Recently I have bought Pioneer DV-400 DVD player. If I put a Divx DVD,it shows can not play. What is the procedure to eneble DIVX? Also if I put flash drive with divx files, still can not play.

read the fine print ie my Panasonic DMR EZ27 will only play Divx DVD recorded on -R(RW) media

I have the DV-400 and it has played every AVI or DivX file I have thrown at it on disc, flash drive or FAT32 formatted hard drive. I use +R DVD media. I don’t think there is anything in particular that needs to be done to play DivX/AVI/XviD files. Make sure your disc is finalized and not in an open session. I found it can’t play +R discs that aren’t finalized. Hard drives must be formatted in FAT32 to be read. NTFS can’t be read by the player and most other DivX capable players for that matter.
