Yes, only 4x possible all the time. Except the NEC with 2,4x and 4x

This media vary a lot. Less PIE, more PIF and vice versa

But still, pretty good and consistent results for these media (SkyMedia’s DVDRs used to be mostly of horrible quality).

Yep, I have much more wose results with newer actual MBI-media, especially with the +R. But these media works in almost all DVD-writers with 16x, can be burned without problem to the last MB and can be read at full speed

Guess, this old media can´t be read at full speed, similar to my Princo (even with lower error-rate than MCC)
