Plasmon DVD+R

The Samsung SE-506CB with mediatek Chipset dont have a write Strategy for that media. I can only choose 3,3x and nero say at your own risk or try simulate first. The burning failed at start but the media is empy.

And antoher Warning my total all Single Media DVD eater LG H10 will destroy these media too…

I also burned one disc with success in a Asus (B) Clone i think. But these media cant be scanned with an Benq… and sometimes the scan with an Liteon A even fail…

These are very special media.

Here the burns with the Asus and the Pio BD-S08.

BENQ DVD DD DW1650 BCIC, 4,07 GB burned at 4x

sold as “3A Media Red 8x DVD+R”
MID: Plasmon1 C01
made in Austria by 3A Media with Steag Hamatech 3503 DVDR line
This is the one of the rarest optical media kind ever made. As far as I know, no other manufacturer ever dared to produce DVDR media with colored polycarbonate.

The H12N dont like that media, but the overall high PIE indicate this media is not really good. But rare, I guess

They certainly do not stand up to the “Swiss quality” expectations. :tongueout:
But they are becoming very rare and very hard to get.

Never had one of it, only CD-R, so you for sure right :yum:
