this is why most long term XP users dual boot to 9x/XP, best of both worlds

‘>Best of both worlds’ Nah, wouldn’t that be: The worst of one fucked up M$ world Anyway… Ripped this album on Linux with CD-Paranoia, and no problem at all!

If someone wants to rip this CD using WXP, I’ve just done it 2 hours ago using SoundForge. The tracks 2 to 12 are very simple to rip, the trouble is with number 1. To surpass the protection, take note of the time length for that track, and change the first number (from a strange 00:01,74) to the most usual 00:02,00. Rip it using those timings, and done!

Can someone explain in Plain English how to rip this CD? What is the updated CDFS.VXD? I have bought this album, but only ever listen to things as MP3’s. Very annoying.
