Well SPDIF can stream WAV at 48000Hz so how is this going to be better than WMA9? Seems pointless to put a decoder chip in the amp when the computer can do the same job for free. What a waste of time :r

…and a waste of money 5000 bucks for an amp so you can listen to a DRM technology? “This means no data is lost in conversion and also copy-protection information is not discarded.” Oh goody! Only Bill Gates could afford this amp. :r

actually thinking about it my much cheaper yamaha amp can get 96kHz audio over SPDIF and i believe it’s possible to get dvd-a quality over it too. it all just adds to the pointlessness of it all. Plus anyone who has that much cash is hardly going to be interested in playing music from a PC, surely?
