Pioneer is the only burner drive I will buy!

you are very sad then!

:S

Only 32x writing for cd…Hmmmm

“CD-R : Max.40x-speed” CD-RW is 32.

Correct me if I’m wrong: It looks like letter “J” in the series name (DVR-A11-JBK) means that this drive will be released ONLY for Japaneese market. If that’s true - that is too sad…:c

jbk means japanese version package (mainly for software) with black bezel; it doesn’t mena it won’t come to outside of japan nor it will.

Let’s wait for a great cdfreaks’ review!

The -J models are of course only meant for Japan domestic market. In South Korea, domestic models have “/DOM” attached. :g

In case someone has overread it…

The new drives can record and play recordable discs in a wide range of DVD formats (Dual Layer DVD-R, DVD+R Double Layer, DVD-R, DVD+R, DVD-RW, DVD+RW, and DVD-RAM*2), as well as CD-R and CD-RW discs.
